The Personal Journey 365, shield of faith
In the spiritual sense, the only means of building the shield of faith is through the experience of quenching the fiery darts of the wicked one. Each piece of armory in the Armor of God is procured and refined through experience; this includes the shield of faith. The fiery darts from the evil one are the thoughts, the words, or the actions encountered on a daily basis that can penetrate the heart, thus creating doubt, discouragement, or a sense of being unworthy. They can come from anywhere at any time. Consequently, the most blistering and fieriest of darts are the ones that come from those closest to us, including ourselves.

All Americans should be given this lesson. Those who think that America is an
arrogant nation should really reconsider that thought. Our founding fathers used
God’s word and teachings to establish our Great Nation and I think it’ high time
Americans get re-educated about this Nation’s history.. Pass it along and be
proud of the country we live in and even more proud of those who serve to
protect our ‘GOD GIVEN’ rights and freedoms.

When first an individual believes and receives Jesus Christ into their hearts, they put on the breastplate of righteousness. The righteousness of Jesus Christ dwells now within them through the power of the Holy Spirit. With this Breastplate of Righteousness nothing is impossible. Yet today even many born-again Christians still fall prey to the lie of believing they are unworthy. This deception is straight from the Enemy’s camp.
