The Personal Journey 365, the Holy Spirit Movement

Good News Broadcasting & Multimedia - Online Christian Media“If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever.” (John 14:15-16, NIV)

”Holy Spirit Movement” as pertaining to Biblical references to God, the Father, God, the Son, Jesus Christ, and God, The Holy Spirit as three in one a Holy Trinity.  The current age Holy Spirit Movement refers to a global transformation of individuals by the Spirit of God. This is exactly what is happening in our world, today.  Where evil exist, grace abounds (James 4:6, NLT).  It is for this reason that all believing eyes need to be paying attention to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit to hear God’s voice. (John 10: 3, 16, 27, NLT)

Who is the Holy Spirit?

A Divine Being: A divine person, a being with ”a mind, will, and emotions.”  We can know that the Holy Spirit is indeed a divine person because He possesses a mind, emotions, and a will.  The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10).  The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30).  The Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27).  He makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).   GotQuestions.org

God: The third person of the Trinity. But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10-11 NLT).

Advocate: The Spirit of truth, that intercedes in our behalf testifying to our spirit all that Christ teaches and reminds us in every promise in our lives (John 14:16, 26, 15:26).

Comforter and Counselor: A promise from Jesus that He would send His Spirit after His death (John 14:14-16, NIV).  It is to this Counselor that we keep vigilant.  Consequently, if we keep continual communication with the Holy Spirit, we are in God’s will.  We can discern truth from lies, we can be directed in our purpose; and most assuredly, we can see and trust in God’s master plan.

If we are led by the Holy Spirit then we are fully equipped by the Spirit of God to overcome anything that comes in our path, no matter how minute or colossal –our foundation is set and will not be shaken.
