Can it be as simple as surrendering our imagination to God? Explore what others are experiencing and what Christians are finally understanding. Surrendered imagination to the purposes and plans of God is the most powerful tool we have as Christians and what faith is about. GNBM.org & ThePersonalJourney.org
If the tongue has the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and we were given dominion over all of the earth by God (Genesis 1:26), then why do believers experience such disappointment and defeat in their lives?
It is in the moments we reach the edge of the abyss, the height of a trying circumstance, do we begin to comprehend the glory of God as genuine faith is manifested in us. Though life may be pressuring our conscience from every direction, it is at this point, at the rim of victory or defeat, when God’s omnipotent Grace intervenes. This is the type of faith that stretches us beyond our breaking point, because it is not in our own might that it will be accomplished but in Christ Jesus, our Savior.
While reading inspirational books, going to church events, attending Bible studies or meandering from church to church in search of truth has its place in our journey it can most often bring the Christian sojourner to utter confusion, and thusly to the paralysis of analysis. For it is not in our head that we find Christ, but rather our hearts. The personal journey is not about figuring God out, but rather discovering an intimacy with Christ through a personal relationship that nothing in this world can teach us. No one in this world has all the answers, and no one or nothing can bring complete serenity in our lives than God.
To come to the understanding that we have the power of life and death in our mouth is revelation that can only come from the Spirit of God. This means, if not surrendered to God, can cause a ripple effect of destruction in epic portions. Yet gloriously, if surrender to Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit the mouth can accomplish the miraculous. It is in the mouth that we confess Jesus is Lord and are saved. It is from the mouth that we receive the Holy Spirit. It is the mouth by praise and worship that the Glory of God descends upon us and makes the impossible possible.
The “Comfort Zone” can be described as that manageable position we assume we control and portray to the rest of the world out of fear of the truth. The word comfort is a misnomer because this position is usually not comfortable — only familiar. Many have learned to juggle and weave an intricate façade to portray some sense of normality to themselves, and the rest of the world.

…type of fear is not of God, but rather a means of deception that is left unchecked can steal, kill and destroy everything we hold dear. It brings its victims to a defenseless state of vulnerability opening the door for chaos and caustic choices.
